Long Pepper

Long Pepper is rare in European and North American cooking these days, which is a shame because it’s an amazing spice! It starts out sweet, with some evergreen notes, and then quickly transitions into a dramatically spicy peppercorn buzz. This combo of sweet and spicy makes it a welcome addition to Old Fashioned, Manhattans and tequila drinks.
